Albert Ellis, Ph.D.  1913-2007

 

Impact Publishers joins tens of thousands of friends and supporters of Dr. Albert Ellis around the world who are mourning his death, on July 24, 2007, in New York City. Dr. Ellis, 93, had been seriously ill for more than a year.

 

One of the most influential, creative, colorful and controversial individuals in the history of professional psychology, Dr. Ellis is often credited as the "creator of psychology's cognitive revolution" for his innovative Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy.

 

The staff at Impact are proud and honored to have published five of Dr. Ellis' more than sixty books and to count ourselves among his long-time friends and supporters.
